Act 537 Plan
The first draft of the Township's 537 Plan was reviewed during a Township Meeting on October 17, 2007. An Act 537 Plan is an Official Sewage Facilities Plan. It determines the wastewater needs of the township and evaluates alternatives to address those issues. Click here for more information regarding Act 537.
Review of amended drafts will continue at subsequent joint meetings, which are held the third Wednesday of each month.
We encourage all interested parties to attend these meetings.
Water Testing
Due to the discovery of e-coli and coliform found in random water samples taken throughout the township (conforming to DEP mandates required for the 537 Plan), we encourage all residents to have their water tested personally to ensure the health and welfare of their families. Many problems can be rectified if treated properly. Most certified water testing agencies will be able to offer some solutions.
